Microsoft Certified Systems
Engineer (MCSE - 2000) Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) for
Windows 2000 requires candidates to pass five core exams and two
elective exams. The exams are geared towards testing a candidate's
proficiency and expertise in solution design and implementation.

Candidates of MCSE 2000 have the option to test with Windows 2000
or Windows XP Professional/Windows .NET Server exams or a combination
of both for a total of three core operating system exams.

**Please Note: These elective exams
can also be used as required design exams. However, one exam will
not count as both a required and an elective in the same certification.
The following exams are no longer offered but still count towards
MCSE 2000 Certification.
